Gladys Cox West

Ms. Gladys Cox West, 87, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Gladys was born in Cumberland County, NC on June 19, 1931 to the late Purde Cox and Lessie Parker Cox. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Benton West, a grandson, Ryan West and 5 siblings. She worked in Textiles before retiring and was a devout Christian. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving sons, Rick West of Grays Creek, Tim West and his wife Carol of Fayetteville; a sister, Kathryn Sessoms of Fayetteville; a special niece, Alice Rich of Hope Mills.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street with Pastor Gary Leviner officiating.
