Christelle Janiff Blanche

Ms. Christelle J. Blanche, 25, passed away Friday October 20, 2017 in Jackson South Community Hospital, Miami, Florida.

Christelle was born in the Dominican Republic on June 10, 1992 to Jose and Margarita Bastardo Blanche. Christelle moved to Fayetteville with her family after her father was stationed at Fort Bragg. She attended Fayetteville Public schools and graduated from 71st High School. She was very active in school and was a cheerleader for 71st. She went on to college obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in fashion from Miami University of Art and Design. 

Christelle was a beatiful model. Friday October 20, 2017 while driving to a video shoot, she was tragically struck by another vehicle. Her mother stated, ‟she had done a lot in her short life and was very happy.” Her father stated, ‟they are going to remember her for who she was, the strongest person that I ever met and the person I am most proud of.” Christelle will be missed greatly and was loved by all. One of her biggest accomplishments that she was most proud of was her daughter, Amira.

Christelle is survived by her daughter, Amira Osborne of Miami, Fl; her parents, Jose and Margarita Blanche of Fayetteville; a brother, Christopher Blanche of Fayetteville; a grandmother, Petronila Herrera of New York and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM-9:00 PM Thursday, October 26, 2017 and 9:00 AM-11:00 AM Friday, October 27, 2017 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

A service to celebrate her life will begin at 12:00 noon Friday at RockFish Church 9949 Fayetteville Rd. Raeford, NC 28376 with Pastor Dan Stanley officiating.

Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
