Brenda Sue Griffin (Maw Maw), 70, of Raeford passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 in First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

Brenda was born in St. Albans, West Virginia on November 7, 1948 to the late Hiram Limuel Rogers and Dolly Dimple Jarrell Rogers. She worked various jobs but was mostly a homemaker taking care of her family. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Griffin. She was a very loving person and will be missed by all who knew her.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Brenda Brooks of Stedman and Vickie Griffin-Hester of Raeford; a brother, Donald Rogers (Sharon) of St. Albans, WV; a sister, Patsy Putz (Hans) of Laplata, MD; grandchildren Terie Griffin, Shelby Taylor, Rashaad Griffin, Hakeem Morrison, Darrion Pearson, Robin Dale, Kerstin Brooks, Diamond Hester and Emerald Hester and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake with Reverend Bill Cavalier officiating.

A Celebration of Life service will follow the burial at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
