Mr. Billy Cain, 78, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Billy was born in Robeson County on October 10, 1940 to the late Raymond Aaron Cain and Sallie Wilkens Cain. He loved to fish and was a truck driver for over 50 years. The last 25 of those years were for Martins Meat Company from which he retired. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Eugene Cain and Robert Cain.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Lena Gray Cain of the home; a daughter, Teresa Faye Cain Hicks and her husband Petie of Fayetteville; a son, Billy Darryl Cain and his wife Angie of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Grant Taylor Cain (Kristen), Lauren MacKenzie Cain, Jonathan David Hicks and Matthew Lee Hicks; siblings, Malvene, Rosalie, J.L., Earl, Mary, Joyce and many extended family members.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Fayetteville Community Church, 2010 Middle River Loop Fayetteville, NC 28312.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Wesley Pritchard officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in memory of Billy to a charity of ones choice.
