Obit for Mr. Benton

On September 4, 2019, Heaven’s golden gates open and invited Benny Eugene Benton, Sr. to his final reward, with his family by his side. Benny was born December 10, 1932 to the late Willie and Ola Ward Benton.

Benny is predeceased in death by several members of his family, and is survived by his wife, Alice Thompson Benton; daughter, Sandra Broadwell; son, Benny Benton; sisters, Doris Delk and Kay Eason; brother Michael Wayne Benton; one grandchild Mandy Bryant and husband Kurt; two great grandchildren, Brooke and Braxton Bryant.

Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2019 at Lafayette Funeral Home from 11:00 am-12:00 noon. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with interment to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Cross Point Church Building Fund, 7030 Rockfish Road, Fayetteville, NC  28306.
