Ms. Aida Vega-Morales, 84, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 in her home.

Aida was born in Columbia, South America on March 2, 1935 to the late Carlos Vega and Marquesa Morales. She worked as a machine operator in a container plant before retirement. She will be greatly missed.

Aida is survived by her children, Alfonso Vega (Marlene), Gustavo Vega, Jose Vega, Jessie Peralta, all of New Jersey and Dianora Santana (Hector) of Fayetteville; siblings, Ari Vega, Judith Vidal and Teresa Fernandez, all of South America; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members.

Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2019 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 P.M. with the Reverend Bill Cavalier officiating.

Burial will follow at a later date.
