Tommy Richard Carpenter

Mr. Tommy Richard Carpenter, 62, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in his home.

Tommy was born in Stanley County, NC on June 30, 1953 to the late Tom and Helen Marie Honeycutt Carpenter. He retired from the US Army, worked as a truck driver and then as a nurse with Womack Army Medical Center before becoming disabled. He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Carpenter and a sister, Marie Austin.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Andrew Wayne Carpenter and wife Amy of Fayetteville and Adam Richard Carpenter and wife Denise of Hope Mills; a brother, William Carpenter of Albemarle and 3 grandchildren. 

Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 13, 2015 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
