I want to take a moment to tell the family that I am truly sorry for your loss. We can find in comfort in knowing that we look forward to a time stated in God’s word the Bible at Revelation 21:4 - “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Dean was a good friend during our time together at Fort Myer, VA. Always full of energy and a bit of mischief, I can still see his smile. It was so nice to brush elbows with him at the Old Guard FDC reunion.

I knew Dean as a young man, full of life. We served together in The Old Guard, and were roommates for a time. He was a very good friend to me and I will miss him dearly!
