I want to take a moment to tell the family that I am truly sorry for your loss. We can find in comfort in knowing that we look forward to a time stated in God’s word the Bible at Revelation 21:4 - “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

You were a ton of fun to hang out with on our many deployments,/ TDYs. You taught my son to swim which helped him in the Coast Guard, Only Henry would show up to a LAR Christmas party in a tux upstaging the boss HA! Will miss you brother.

We lost a true friend who lightened our life. First met 30 years ago, found out to be real friends, never forget about each other forever.......
Farewell my friend

We wish stength to Sue and the family.

Sherwood was always there. A friend and a neighbor. He helped us with the air conditioner when Rudy was sick. They were always competing for best yard. Best Christmas decoration. Best motorcycle. But they were buddies and always looking out for each other. If one did not have a tool all he had to do was ask. I think Prestige Blvd has a permanent trail between our houses. We will miss you always.

If you would be able to choose your uncle you would have chosen Sherwood. He was everything a niece would want . He made me smile, spent time with me, taught me how to fix cars, bought my my first nintendo, added a pool to his yard for my entertainment , and the list is endless. I'm not good expressing my thoughts in words and no words could have express the love I have for my Uncle Sherwood. I will miss him so much.

Ricky and I cannot express the sadness we feel losing his brother, Sherwood was truly one of a kind. He had so much warmth and caring for his family and those he loved. When I first met Sherwood he helped to make me feel so welcomed. We will both continue to pray for peace and comfort for the whole family. We know heaven gained an angel, he's spirit is free and his body can rest now.

Sherwood, we will always love you and think of you often. Until we meet again..... Much Love, Ricky and Wanda
