I just learned of Mr. Locklear's passing. I graduated with his son, Michael in Stafford, VA. I haven't seen the family in years but know of Mr. Locklear's contribution to Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties in VA.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Locklear were always gracious hosts when I visited their house back in high school.
It's funny how memories come rushing back to you. Yesterday, I had a customer with the last name of Locklear. Of course, I asked if they were relatives and they were not. Although, from the same area in NC. They're the ones that told me about Mr. Locklear's passing.
The last time I heard from Mike was in 2016 on FB....I pray for Mike and his family as well of all the friends of the Locklear's.
That was a very touching video tribute!

Condolences to the Locklear family on the loss of your loved one. I do not know him or the family personally, but would like to offer some scriptural comfort.
2Corinthians 1:2-4 helps to see that we serve a God of comfort who helps us to be comforted by him and in turn, be able to comfort others. Continue to hold wonderful memories in your hearts until you see him again. (John 5:28&29)
