On the evening of Monday, March 06, 2017, God called our love one, Clem Harold Narcisse Jr., home from labor to reward. Clem was born on April 28, 1948 in Lackey, Virginia to the late Master Sergeant (MSG) Clem Harold Narcisse Sr. and the late Geneva Virginia Todd.

He attended Brentwood High School in 1967.  On March 14, 1968 Clem joined the United States Army and served 2 years as a light weapons infantry soldier (11B40) who did 11 months and 3 days in Vietnam. During his time in the service Clem was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal w/four Bronze Stars, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Cross of Gallantry w/Bronze Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device 60 and a Combat Infantryman's Badge.

After Clem's dedicated time to service he worked in Food Service at Pilgrim State Hospital for 30 years, as well as working in Housekeeping for The Veterans Assistance in NorthPort, New York for over 20 years.

Clem leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Deborah Denise Thompson of Fayetteville, North Carolina; son, Lionel Howard Brown (Shonna) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; daughter, Yvette Michelle Banks (Steven) of Dallas, Texas; son, Clem Harold Narcisse III of New York, New York; daughter, the late Lashan Thompson and daughter, Simone Virginia Narcisse of Central Islip, New York; Siblings, Sister, Maria Christina Slack (James) of Newport News,Virginia; Sister, the late Donna Catalina Narcisse; Brother Johnny Cornelius Narcisse of Wyndanch, New York; Sister, Etta Redell Narcisse Harrison (Michael) of Pasadena, California; Brother, Rene Anthony Narcisse of Raliegh, North Carolina; Brother, Almore Mark Narcisse of Nassau County, New York; Brother, Daniel Curtis Otero of New York, New York; Sister, Adela Theresa Otero of Pasadena, California; and 7 Grandchildren, Meliana Margarita Brown of Fayetteville, North Carolina; the late Rayshawn Brown, Chanel Banks of Dallas,Texas; Kalah Banks of Dallas, Texas; Steven Banks Jr. of Dallas, Texas; Brayden Lionel Brown of Lumberton, North Carolina; and Dylan Narcisse of Central Islip, New York as well as one Great Grandchild, Roselani Roberson of Raeford, North Carolina and a host of Nephews, Nieces, Great Nephews, Great Nieces,  Great Great Nephews and Great Great Nieces.

Clem Narcisse was and always been a family oriented man since the death of his father on August 2, 1962. There he helped his mother raise 4 brothers and 4 sisters. On August 8, 1974, Clem met the woman of his dreams, Deborah Denise Thompson where they lived in New York and raised 2 sons and 3 daughters. During this time Clem assisted in the raising of several nieces and nephews. Clem told his Aunt Pearl that he never knew real happiness until he met Deborah. They were together for 43 years.

Clem always gave his all to his children, Grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as his brothers and sisters. He worked several jobs as well as late hours in order to provide for his family. Clem gave so much of himself to his family. An example of how much he devoted himself to his family was by instance that he would go to work in the morning and made sure that he got off in time from his first job in order to support his five children with their participation in youth soccer. After his time on the soccer field with his children, he would then leave to work his second job.

Clem was always willing and wanting to share his knowledge with anyone who would listen or that he could touch. The knowledge that he shared was not always accepted at first but as time went on, folks began to see how helpful and useful his teachings were. Clem was always dependable and he was a rock for many of his family and friends with no questions asked. He never went to bed mad, his motto was before laying your head down on your pillow solve whatever the issue may be. This is just some of the wonderful and great things that Clem Narcisse did for so many. There was not a stranger that he did not know nor touch with his grace.
